BSO detectives investigate ‘security related incident’ at FLL, say there’s no threat to public

FORT LAUDERDALE-HOLLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, FLA. (WSVN) - Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport was on alert on Saturday afternoon.

Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking into what airport officials described as a “security related incident.”

Investigators said there’s no threat to the public at this time.

FLL officials said there were “no major impacts to airport operations.”
