POMPANO BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - One company gave a generous donation to support a South Florida Community.

On Thursday, Habitat for Humanity of Broward received funds from Bank of America at a ceremony held in a Rick Case Habitat Community in Pompano Beach in support of the organization’s mission to provide affordable housing.

The bank awarded the nonprofit organization a $50,000 grant.

Team members with the financial institution will work with future Habitat homeowners to help complete five new homes. The nonprofit organization’s affordable single-family home development is the largest in Broward County’s history.

The construction stems from a shared vision between Habitat for Humanity and Bank of America that providing access to affordable housing advances economic mobility and enriches the community.

WSVN is a longtime supporter and sponsor of Habitat for Humanity.
