SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A 9-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after, officials said, he was pulled unresponsive from a backyard swimming pool in Southwest Miami-Dade, Thursday morning.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the home along Southwest 53rd Street and 87th Place, just after 11:30 a.m. Officials said the boy was removed from the pool, and CPR was performed.
Paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Police are investigating.
