MIAMI (WSVN) - Police are investigating after a body was found in the bay at Morningside Park, early Monday morning.
Investigators were called to the scene, located at 750 N.E. 55th Terr., in Miami, at around 3 a.m.
The body was pulled from the water and taken to the Medical Examiners Office, shortly after 5 a.m.
In addition to police, homicide detectives and crime scene investigators, there was a woman talking to police that was likely the person who found the body. She left the scene on a scooter without talking to the media.
According to officials, the victim is a male. However, they have not yet identified him.
