DEERFIELD BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - A man stole a bike worth more than $5,000, Monday, from a Deerfield Beach bike shop.
According to Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies, the man walked into Bicycle Generation near East Hillsboro Boulevard and Southeast 12th Avenue, at around 4 p.m. Saturday, and expressed interest in purchasing the high-performance racing bicycle.
The man took the bike out for a test ride and never returned, according to the shop’s owner.
