NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - Officials are working to clean up a fuel leak in the waters off North Miami Beach after a barge sank in the area.
7Skyforce HD flew over the scene Friday, behind a home near Northeast 167th Street and Biscayne Boulevard
According to police, fuel was leaking out of the cargo boat while it went under water. As the cargo boat sank, wooden planks began breaking apart, causing a large piling of floating wood behind the home.
The U.S. Coast Guard is now handling the situation.
