WEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - At least three cars were damaged by debris on the Palmetto Expressway, in West Miami-Dade, Monday afternoon.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene on the southbound lanes of the roadway, near the Flagler Street exit, just before 4 p.m.

Witnesses said a large piece of metal that someone dropped on the road caused the damage.

7’s Skyforce HD hovered above the affected vehicles, though the damage was not visible.

A 7News viewer said no one was injured, but officials have not confirmed this.
