MIAMI (WSVN) - Police have given the all clear after a bomb threat was made, Tuesday morning, near Miami-Dade’s Metro Justice Building.

According to Miami Police, some time before 10 a.m., a caller said there was a black car inside the parking lot with a bomb. Police said the caller also stated they were being held hostage.

“The call came in as a male possibly taken hostage,” said City of Miami Police officer Yelitza Cedano. “He reported that there was a possible bomb inside of a black vehicle. However, we cannot confirm that information.”

Authorities evacuated the parking lot shortly after the call. K-9 units were on the scene as each vehicle was checked for any trace of an explosive.

At 11 a.m., police gave the all clear after discovering there was no bomb of any sort near the justice building.
