MIAMI (WSVN) - A local camp is preparing for their final performance of the summer.
AileyCamp Miami is holding the final performance of #OneDream at 7 p.m., Aug. 6.
AileyCamp Miami works to encourage campers to work on their dream, both as individuals and as a group, under one common theme — peace and love. “AileyCamp Miami is really a program about self-development — boosting their self-esteem using the vehicle of dance and performing arts,” said Jairo Ontiveros, the director of education at the Adrienne Arsht Center.
“AileyCamp Miami has taught me so much,” said camper Celine Alvarez. “I’ve learned courage, how to become a leader, how to express my passion into dance. We’ve also learned personal development.”
The event will be free for all ages.
