Ahoy, Mateys! Talk or dress like a pirate today and get free doughnuts at Krispy Kreme

MIAMI (WSVN) - If you didn’t know, Monday is Talk Like a Pirate Day, so in honor of this important holiday, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will be offering a free, Original Glazed doughnut to every person who walks into their store and talks like a pirate — and a full box of glazed donuts if you dress like a pirate.

According to Krispy Kreme, any person who talks like a pirate at one of their participating locations will receive one free Original Glazed doughnut. Better yet, if you have a pirate costume on hand and show up to your local Krispy Kreme in full pirate garb, you can receive one dozen Original Glazed doughnuts.

But if you don’t have a pirate costume, don’t you worry — for the first time this year, participating Krispy Kreme locations will have a pirate filter on Snapchat where you can “digitally dress” like a pirate. If you show this image to a cashier or employee, you can qualify for a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts, as well.

According to Krispy Kreme rules, a pirate costume must include at least three items, such as an eye patch or a bandana.
