21-year-old woman struck by car in Miami

A 21-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle while crossing an intersection in Miami, Friday morning.

According to police, the woman was crossing the intersection of Northeast Biscayne Boulevard and 31st Street when she was hit by a car.

Officials found her unresponsive and transported her to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

The driver who hit her stayed on the scene.
