WEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Two-thousand gallons of cooking oil spilled on a roadway in West Miami-Dade, Monday night.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue closed off streets in the area of Northwest 127th Avenue and 17th Street, as Hazmat crews cleaned up the mess.

Officials said the spill was not a danger to the environment or a fire hazard.

The area is no longer a concern for drivers and the roadway has been reopened.
