SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Police are searching for the man who, they said, shot and killed two men in Southwest Miami-Dade before taking off in one of the victims’ car, early Saturday.

According to Miami-Dade Police, a gunman walked up to Edward Seymour and VonTavius Sands and opened fire as they stood outside Seymour’s four-door Cadillac CTS, near South Dixie Highway and Southwest 222nd Street, at around 4 a.m.

Investigators said the attacker then robbed a third victim inside the car, then told her to get out and took off in the vehicle. She was not hurt.

A friend of one of the victims was left in disbelief after driving by the scene. “He’s a very nice person. Never get in no problems, never fight with nobody. He’s just a friendly person,” he said. “I don’t know why they would kill him.”

If you have any information on this crime, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a $3,000 reward.
