HILLSBORO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) — Two docked boats were destroyed in a massive fire in Broward County, Saturday afternoon.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the blaze broke out near the 1000 block of Hillsboro Mile and A1A, in Hillsboro Beach. They said a burning 24-foot Cobalt boat drifted into a 39-foot Invincible.
A captain from TowBoatU.S. Fort Lauderdale fought alongside firefighters to put out the massive blaze that consumed the docked vessels.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
There is word as to whether anyone was hurt.
