OAKLAND PARK, FLA. (WSVN) - One person was killed and another was rushed to the hospital after, authorities said, they were shot in Oakland Park, Tuesday afternoon.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene near West Oakland Park Boulevard and Northwest Sixth Avenue, just before 4 p.m. A SWAT team entered the house, where they found two people shot, one of them dead.
That other person was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center in unknown condition.
Police had close down Oakland Park Boulevard between Andrews Avenue and Powerline Road as they investigated.
