FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - One person was taken to the hospital and several others were injured after a fire broke out at an apartment building in Fort Lauderdale, early Friday morning.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene of the blaze, near North Ocean Boulevard and Northeast 27th Street. Officials said the fire involved the 15th floor and extended to the 16th floor.
Paramedics treated several of the victims at the scene. None of their injuries were life-threatening.
Officials are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
