NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A fatal shooting has left one man dead at a Northwest Miami-Dade bus stop, police said, early Monday morning.

According to Miami-Dade Police, at around 2 a.m. a black male in his 20s was sitting at a bus stop, located at N.W. 135th St. and N.W. 22nd Ave., next to New Birth Baptist Church, when he was suddenly shot.

The man was then airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Officials have not identified the shooter and exactly how many shots were fired.

Homicide investigators have since left the scene. However, the investigation remains ongoing.
