SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Police are investigating a shooting in a Southwest Miami-Dade neighborhood that left one man dead and another injured.

Officers responded to a call of a woman in distress after shots were fired inside a home along Jackson Street and Graham Drive, at around 7 p.m. Friday.

Once they arrived, they met with the woman, her daughter and another man.

Police entered the home and found a 39-year old man suffering from gunshot wounds and another dead.

Police blocked off the area surrounding the home as they looked for evidence. 7News cameras captured homicide detectives and forensic technicians searching for clues outside the residence.

“The detectives right now are doing the investigation,” said Miami-Dade Police Detective Colome. “We have no idea who’s the shooter, who’s the victim or any subjects. We don’t have that information at the moment, but as soon as we get it, we’ll send it to you guys.”

The injured man was taken to Jackson South Hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Police are still questioning suspects. This is an ongoing investigation.
