NEW YORK (WSVN) — Need to fit a quick nap right before your flight? Well you may be in luck if you’re traveling from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City.
JetBlue unveiled four new EnergyPods that will allow travelers to nap for 20 minutes with the ambiance of relaxing music aimed at reducing distractions.
In case you’re worried about missing your flight, don’t worry… the chair will wake you up with a combination of lights, music and vibrations, according to CNN.
"We are always focused on making the most comfortable experience for our customers, both on and off the plane," Icema Gibbs, JetBlue’s director of corporate social responsibility told CNN in a statement.
The pods were designed by MetroNaps who have recently been expanding to hospitals, universities and now airports.
It’s unclear if the pods will expand to other airports across the country.
