Spring time is all about being outside, and what better place to host an outdoor tea? Makeover maestro Martin Amado has some tips to get the garden party started.
WSVN — Martin Amado: “On today’s Room for Improvement, it’s all about creating the ultimate garden party. I have tips to decorate your table and also create the perfect beverage station for entertaining outdoors.”
Martin Amado: “Instead of using paper plates, you can up the style level and use melamine plates. They look like the real thing, and they’re super durable.”
Martin Amado: “The same thing applies to your glasses. These are plastic and shatter proof.”
Martin Amado: “Yes, these are paper napkins. I’m going to show you how to embellish them to make them look more special. With a simple rubber stamp, I’m going to give them a monogrammed look. “You have a custom look for less, and the best part is, you can easily throw them away.”
Martin Amado: “Some comfy cushions around the tables, and now we are ready for our beverage station.”
Martin Amado: “A picnic throw makes a great tablecloth. Love the colors.”
Martin Amado: “I love the idea of creating a do-it-yourself beverage station. For example, here we have a glass dispenser, and I infused the water with orange slices, and here we have a single cup brewer, not only for coffee but also hot chocolate, and it even makes iced beverages which is perfect for summer. I love the white color, too. Cheers!”
Martin Amado: “Keeping in line with our garden party, I’m using Mason jars as a cute little cup.”
Martin Amado: “And now we have the perfect setting for entertaining outdoors. All that’s missing is that BBQ, so fire it up and remember to keep cool. Until next time, I’m Martin Amado for 7News.”
