GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WSVN) — A Gainesville police officer wanted to propose to his girlfriend in a special way, so he called for backup.
Officer Hickey took his girlfriend for a ride in his police cruiser and then surprised her with a giant painting on a wall saying "Ashley will you marry me?"
His fellow officers were there to capture the special moment on video.
Hickey got down on his knee and presented Ashley with a ring, "I love you," he said.
Ashely then grabbed the can of spray paint and wrote "YES" on the wall.
