Beautiful weather is back, and the timing is perfect! We’re on the "cooler side" of high pressure that’s centered over the eastern Gulf of Mexico. Winds are light and the air flow is directing some cooler than normal air. Mother’s Day will be highlighted by a lot of sunshine. Dry and stable air will also hold over south Florida for at least another 3 or 4 days, keeping the radar quiet. As we get deeper into the week, you’ll notice two things: warmer temperatures, more humidity. As moisture slowly grows (and winds veer more out of the south by Friday) we could see areas of rain returning.
