HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) — An elderly woman had to be hospitalized after a car struck her when she walked into the street.
The 80-year-old was hit by a car on West 49th Street and 16th Avenue in Hialeah, Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said the woman was improperly crossing the street when she was struck.
The driver stayed on the scene until assistance arrived. The victim was later taken to the hospital.
