COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (WSVN) — A college graduate is proving it’s never too late to get a degree. She’s now living the dream at age 79.

Nicoletta Sorice finally received her associate’s degree, Tuesday, from Broward College.

Sorice left war-torn Italy at age 14 and came to the U.S. where she raised three children and spent 28 years working for the Social Security Administration.

She is one of more than 4,000 Broward College students who got their diplomas.
