ORLANDO, Fla. (WSVN) — Get ready Star Wars fans, Disney has finally unveiled renderings of their new Star Wars-themed lands.

The renderings were released during the “Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60” special that aired Sunday night on ABC.

"Walt Disney Imagineering has joined forces with the imagination of Lucasfilm to bring this galaxy to life," the park said on their blog.

The new Star Wars area will reportedly have street markets, a cantina, character interactions and more. The TV special also featured a virtual reality ride that allows visitors to control the Millennium Falcon, Fox News reported.

The expansion will bring an extra 14-acres to both Orlando and California parks in the next few years. It is still unclear when the parks will open.
