“Crash Safari” link will reboot your phone

MIAMI (WSVN) — There is a link going around the internet that may just crash your smartphone.

According to TechCrunch, the site CrashSafari.co (don’t click it) will crash the Safari browser on iOS devices.

Pranksters have been sharing the link on social media so it can crash the reader’s phone. The crashing link can be disguised with a link shortener like Bitly.com or Google’s URL shortener.

The link reportedly won’t do any permanent damage to your phone but it will make it restart. It has also been reported that the link may crash a desktop web browser.
