MIAMI (WSVN) — A top aide to a South Florida Congressman has stepped down.
Giancarlo Sopo, the Communications Director for U.S. State Representative Joe Garcia (Dem.-FL), resigned Monday.
Sopo has been at the center of an absentee-ballot fraud investigation and was placed on unpaid administrative leave last month.
