Several changes are in store for South Florida. We are watching an area of low pressure developing in the Gulf of Mexico, heading our way. Things began on Wednesday afternoon with scattered showers moving over our region ahead of this storm system. This storm will approach South Florida later Thursday afternoon and evening, bringing a cold front towards us. Out ahead of it, we may see strong thunderstorms (some potentially severe) between Thursday afternoon and early Friday morning.

The good news in all of this is that the cold front will push through our area later on Friday, ushering in another, much nicer change just in time for our weekend: Cooler and drier conditions. Expect a wonderful, pleasantly cool and sunny weekend!

Stay tuned for any updates South Florida!

Have a good & safe Wednesday night!
