OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (WSVN) — An Oklahoma fire department gave a 2-year-old boy battling cancer the chance to be a firefighter for a day.

Two-year-old Jase Bollenback has been fighting a rare form of cancer since he was 16 months old. When the Oklahoma City fire department found out that he loved firefighters, they gave him a chance to be a firefighter for a day.

Jase was able to ride in the engine, work the hose and even got a badge.

Jase has undergone multiple operations and weeks of chemotherapy and radiation. Jase’s family has created a GoFundMe in order to help pay for his medical expenses.
