MIAMI (WSVN) — The day Beyoncé fans have been waiting for has finally arrived — Beyoncé will be kicking off her world tour right here in South Florida, Wednesday.

The stage at Marlins Park in Miami has been set and security is in place for Queen Bey’s super-sized show. This is expected to be the biggest concert tour of the year.

The superstar is kicking off her highly-anticipated "The Formation" world tour just days after surprising fans with the release of her new album and video concept, "Lemonade."

Fans made their way into the park, Wednesday evening. The show kicked off at 7:30 p.m., and fans are absolutely pumped for the big night. "I am pumped!" said one fan. "It’s Beyoncé! Like, who’s not gonna be excited to see the Queen Bey?"

The anticipation grew for other fans in line. "I’m too excited," said one fan. "I can barely breathe."

The lines stretched around Marlins Park. "’Bout to get in formation, baby!" said another fan as she waited.

Beyoncé debuted her new single, "Formation," and announced the tour of the same name with Miami’s DJ Khaled as the opening act.

Tickets in most cities were sold out in less than an hour.

On Saturday, the singer surprised fans with her sixth studio album, "Lemonade," on HBO. The world premiere featured videos for the album, which is a personal project that touches on topics like adultery, forgiveness and police brutality. "It was an awesome album, and it’s very artistic," one woman said. "I love it."

A fan said the album’s unpredictability represents the singer. "I love the ‘Lemonade’ album," she said. "It was completely unexpected, just as everything Beyoncé does."

Fans could be in for another big surprise with rumors circulating that Beyoncé may kick off her "Formation" tour with a tribute to Prince.

At the 2004 Grammy Awards, she shared the stage with Prince for an unforgettable performance.

Tickets may still be available on ticketmaster.com and stubhub.com, but get them quick.
