HOLIDAY, Fla. (WSVN/AP) — A Tampa Bay area high school assistant principal has been arrested after she overdosed on pot cookies.

Pasco County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Kevin Doll said Tuesday that 50-year-old Donna Lynch Haff overdosed on cookies made with cannabis oil on Monday.

Fox 13 in Tampa Bay reports that Haff was taken to the hospital after the overdose.

Police also arrested Haff’s 19-year-old daughter, who told deputies that she got the cookies from a coworker for her mother since she wanted to try marijuana for her 50th birthday.

Haff has worked for Anclote High School in Holiday, Florida since 2008.

She has been placed on administrative leave due to the incident.
