NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (WSVN) — Two vehicles collided, Tuesday, when they tried to avoid a lamp post dangling over a North Miami road.
Police said before the crash, another driver hit the pole and took off.
The collision happened at Northwest 125th Street and Seventh Avenue.
Gloria Del LeCruz witnessed the accident. "We just heard something go, ‘Boom,’ and the guy that hit the thing, his car rolled all the way over there and like in front of the shop. We thought the guy was dead," she said. "He had a little dent in his car, and that’s it."
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue treated a passenger in one of the vehicles for minor injuries.
