OPA-LOCKA, Fla. (WSVN) — Landing gear problems caused a small plane to make a rough landing at Opa-locka Executive Airport, injuring both people on board.
According to officials, the Cessna 172RG’s nose gear collapsed as it touched down, Friday afternoon.
The pilot and passenger reportedly sustained injuries, but the extent of the injuries is unknown. There is no word as to whether they were taken to a hospital or treated at the scene.
