Animals are running wild in "Zootopia," but they’re hardly wild animals. They’re totally civilized in Disney’s new animated feature, which is why this was a story for Deco’s animal husbandry expert, Chris Van Vliet. After seeing the movie, he’s put a smart, problem-solving bunny on his speed dial.

In "Zootopia," Judy Hopps is investigating some bunny business. She’s Zootopia’s first rabbit police officer. A tiny bunny — keeping the peace in a city populated by animals.

Her partner in crime fighting is Nick Wilde, a sly fox. And a rabbit’s natural enemy.

Ginnifer Goodwin told Deco she loves Judy Hopps’ optimism and determination.

Ginnifer Goodwin: "I was raised that I could do anything I wanted to do and be anything I wanted to be, and that’s what I plan on doing with my kids."

As for Nick Wilde, star Jason Bateman says he couldn’t see himself playing any other part in "Zootopia."

Jason Bateman: "He’s a bit of a sarcastic guy — a bit cynical — and I can relate to that, so I’m glad they gave me this character to play."

Jason says he’s got it from a good source that "Zootopia" is going to be a smash.

Jason Bateman: "If the reviewers and my daughter are to be believed, this thing is going to be really well received. And be quite a classic."

The animators for "Zootopia" spent months at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, studying the animals so their movements would be super lifelike in the movie. You know what we call that? An excuse for a free, extended vacation.

"Zootopia" opens in theaters Friday, March 4.
