It’s a big week in television. First, Rob Lowe has some big issues to deal with in the Lone Star State, and we have the most anticipated return of TV’s soapiest shows. Here’s a preview.

Liv Tyler (as Michelle Blake): “A possible cardiac event.”

It’s heart-stopping action on Monday’s “9-1-1: Lone Star.” The crews race to emergencies and serious drama unfolds for the whole team leading up to next week’s season finale.

Manish Dayal (as Devon Pravesh): “Tonight’s the night.”

Tomorrow on “The Resident,” the staff needs a Xanax as they deal with big budget cuts, and Doctor Conrad has to give residents the ax!

That’s followed by the beginning of the end of “Empire.” It starts its last 10 episodes.

Nick Cannon: “T-Pain!”

Season one winner, T-Pain, returns to “The Masked Singer” as Group B competes for a spot in the Super Nine, Wednesday.

The “Lego Masters” builders take on a Mega City Block Challenge.

Nancy Travis (as Vanessa Baxter): “Hey!”

“Last Man Standing” leads Thursday night.

The comedy continues on “Outmatched” with Mike and Kay trying to teach Nicole about failure.

Then, “Deputy” has Sheriff Hollister nearing the end of his term and others eyeing his position, and the loud over-the-top action also resumes in the ring on WWE’s “Friday Night SmackDown.”
