“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” hits theaters next week, but some Miami students are already getting a sneak peek at some of the costumes featured in the film.

The magic is back in the “Harry Potter” spin-off “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” The J.K. Rowling story follows a young wizard who lands in 1920’s New York.

Now students at Design and Architecture Senior High in Miami, are getting a sneak peek at costumes from the film.

Jose Laos, A.C.T. Productions: “This is a costume tour that’s being presented all over the country. Eddie Redmayne, Colin Farrell, Katherine Waterston — these are some of the actors who are in the film, wore these costumes. They were pretty much taken off their backs and displayed here for the public to see.”

Eddie Redmayne plays Newt Scamander — a wizard on the run. The display features Newt’s signature bow tie and, of course, his wand.

Katherine Waterston as Porpentina “Tina” Goldstein: “It opened?”

Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander: “Just a smidge.”

Catherine Waterston and Alison Sudol play witches. Forget the pointy hats, these girls have style.

Jose Lados: “Her character is Queenie. She’s like the bombshell, the femme fatal of the film, and this was worn for her. This is one of six replicas that were brought in from Warner Bros. for us to display.”

Colin Farrell as Percival Graves: “No human could do the things he’s capable of.”

Students also got to check out Colin Farrell’s jazz age power suit.

Jose Lados: “The kids were really into this. They knew exactly what they were talking about. They knew about texture, they knew about fabric, they knew about design.”

Like any spell, the magic didn’t last. The collection is being moved to L.A. where it will be on display for the film’s premiere.
