Kevin Bacon is telling us about his new movie, meaning we have zero degrees of separation. Plus, George Clooney and Julia Roberts are back. The “Ocean’s Eleven” couple are on the case of an even bigger heist in this week’s “Showtime.”

A man who lost it all in the market thinks the system is rigged, and he takes an over-the-top TV money man, played by George Clooney, hostage.

Julia Roberts is in his ear as his producer, and remember, producers are the real heroes of live television.

Julia Roberts: “To know that there really isn’t any time to waste, and it’s about problem-solving, and being clever, because no one saw this situation coming.”

In “Search Party,” two friends go to Mexico to rescue a buddy who got carjacked. The carjacker left him stranded and naked in the desert without money.

A family vacation to the Grand Canyon leads to some scary situations in “The Darkness.” Kevin Bacon is Peter Taylor, a dad whose son brings rocks home from the trip that have a terrifying connection to something dark and creepy.

This one opens on Friday the 13th. Even though it’s a frightening flick, you can leave the chainsaw at home.

Kevin Bacon: “I was in the original “Friday the 13th,” that, you know, you go somewhere, you go to camp and some house for a sleepover, and people just start dying. This film is much more in the vein of ‘The Omen’ and ‘The Exorcist.'”
