ORLANDO, FLA. (WSVN) - Universal Studios in Orlando will open a Nintendo-themed area sometime in the next several years, Universal announced Tuesday.

The Nintendo areas will also be put into Universal’s theme parks in Japan and Hollywood, California.

“Guests will feel as if they are playing inside their favorite games — this time in real life,” the company said in a statement.

Planning and creative work on the areas is already underway, and the areas are set to open in the next several years.

No specific date was given.
