Fins up! We’re obviously rooting for a Dolphins win Thursday night, but we’re also cheering for good football fashion. You gotta look cute, whether you’re watching from home or the stadium. No matter who you’re rooting for, though, Deco’s checking out styles full of team spirit.
It’s time for the Deco Drive halftime fashion show! We’ve got football feels at Macy’s in Dadeland Mall.
Anais Grullon, Macy’s: “I think the energy transitions once you put on a team shirt or jersey. There’s nothing like it. Even if youre not going anywhere, I always suggest feeling that team spirit through your clothes.”
Gotta show some love to our hometown Dolphins, especially “Ace Ventura” star Dan Marino.
Dan Marino: “Crybaby.”
Jim Carrey (as Ace Ventura): “Jock.”
Dan Marino: “Wimp.”
Jim Carrey (as Ace Ventura): “Musclehead.”
Anais Grullon: “I think everybody’s really excited for the Dolphins, but Macy’s has so many great things –different teams, different ways to wear the team stuff, too.”
It’s super easy to style the looks with layers.
Anais Grullon: “You can either ‘grungify’ it by using one of the jean jackets, or the new leather jacket with the tassels. If you wanted to step up the look and make it a little more trendy, you can definitely add a blazer.”
There’s also the familiar “boyfriend tee” outfit.
Anais Grullon: “Now we’re seeing that even with jerseys. For a girl who likes something oversized but still wants to look cute and comfy, I suggest using an oversized jersey and making it a dress.”
Now you can at least look nice while your fantasy team gets destroyed!
And don’t worry, ‘Canes fans. Macy’s hasn’t forgotten it’s all about the “U.”
Anais Grullon: “Of course we’ve got you covered. We have amazing options, from sweatshirts to T-shirts and, of course, your favorite hat.”
Even if you’re not a big football fan, it’s still easy to dress like one for game day.
Anais Grullon: “Everybody has a little black sweater in their closet, and the best way to really take that and make you feel like you’re super into your NFL team, whichever that may be, is by simply adding a hat, just like this.”
