Some people are absolutely sure that organic hangovers are way lighter than regular ones. By organic hangovers, we mean drinking cocktails where everything, even the garnish, is organic. Being the hangover experts that we are, we found a place where you can load up on all things healthy, and then maybe nurse a healthy hangover.
On Liberty Avenue in South Beach…
Jorge Moreno, Life is Beautiful Organic Bar Pop-up: “Our pop-up is called Life is Beautiful.”
They’re celebrating life, the Miami way.
Jorge Moreno: “We’re not trying to change the lifestyle of South Beach. A lot of people come to South Beach to party. I mean, there is no confusing that, but you can party and party healthy.”
The Riviera South Beach Hotel is taking organic to another level, with the help of this guy — Jorge Moreno.
A few years ago, Jorge helped put Miami on the music map, and even sang for the Victoria’s Secret Angels during their fashion show.
Now, Jorge’s all about partying, organically.
Jorge Moreno: “All alcohol is organic, every single brand, we gotta find them in different parts of the world and bring them here. They gotta be certified organic.”
The mixers and garnishes are organic, too!
Jorge Moreno: “One of my favorite drinks here is the Mucha Kombucha. The Mucha Kombucha contains kombucha, a fermented tea, has organic spiced rum, organic elderflower cordial, organic ground cinnamon, organic star anise, and I say organic so many times ’cause we wanna stress that every ingredient and everything we do is organic.”
Oh, we get it. I mean, check out this hibiscus margarita.
Jorge Moreno: “Organic silver tequila, organic hibiscus liqueur, organic fresh lemon juice, organic agave nectar, and organic chia seeds.”
Got the munchies? There’s an array of all-organic foods, like this No Bull Burger.
Jorge Moreno: “We have the No Bull Burger. It’s funny, because people order it thinking it has meat in it when it’s called the No Bull Burger.”
It has no meat. Instead, it has a mix of organic grains and veggies served on organic sprouted grain and seed bread.
And, to make things even healthier, there’s free booty yoga every Saturday at noon, led by Roya Fit. This one is good to do or to watch.
Jorge Moreno: “Here at the Riviera Hotel, we welcome everyone to just walk in. As long as you’re a customer purchasing something, you can use our facilities, you can use the pool, you can come have a great day.”
Expect this pop-up to become permanent, but for now…
Jorge Moreno: “The pop-up of Life is Beautiful is going on from 11 in the morning to 11 at night, Thursdays through Sundays.
