You know doing this blog and trying new restaurants all the time is awesome. I’m not complaining. But sometimes when you’re always out trying new stuff you forget about some of the other great places that have been open for more than a minute. Juvia Miami is one such place. This gorgeous rooftop gem has been around 4 years and it’s still as great as ever.
To celebrate 4 great years the James Beard award winning restaurant is offering a special pre-fixed menu, through the summer, featuring some of their greatest hits. Five courses of Juvia goodness. A little salmon sashimi gets you started, followed by a crisp, clean watercress salad with charred hearts of palm that preps your palate for the main course. Choose between the seared tuna, grilled swordfish, grilled tenderloin or braised lamb shank. Each beautifully presented dish a fusion of Juvia’s signature Japanese, French and Peruvian cuisine. I recommend the seared tuna. It’s like butt-ah! And make sure to leave room for dessert.
Staying on top in the restaurant game in this town is no easy feat but thanks to stunning views, great food and top notch service Juvia’s managed to do it for 4 years. And that’s something to celebrate.
