Saying I like stylish clothes is like saying I like air and water. They are a must. Thankfully, I don’t have to look far for any of them.

Julian Chang has been a fashion fixture for years.

Julian Chang: “I am a Miami-based fashion designer. I have been designing a long time.”

His looks are must for celebs like Kelly Rowland, Gina Rodriguez — and Lynn!

Julian Chang: “We have been very lucky with celebrity dressing.”

Now you don’t have to be “in the know” to get Julian’s clothes. Everyone just needs to head over to his new flagship store in MiMo at 72nd and Biscayne.

Julian Chang: “I felt that it was time to have the interaction with my customers and be able to present directly to them.”

The Julian Chang store is a perfect place to check out his spring/summer 2016 collection.

Julian Chang: “My inspiration comes from Miami, and the colors are important to me.”

Bright colors, bold prints and lace are some signature looks.

Julian Chang: “We did a lot of rompers. Rompers have been important in the spring.”

From a long hemline to a short one, to carefully lined laces, Julian’s styles are timeless.

Julian Chang: “Exaggerated sleeves is very important. Details on the sleeve is important.”

His collection goes from ready-to-wear to evening wear, and according to him, you can always wear it.

Julian Chang: “Clothing shouldn’t be just one trend or one season. I believe they should be season-less and at the same time comfortable.”

Prices start at $95 for tops and $120 for dresses.

Julian Chang: “Fashion should be accessible to everyone, so I am very careful about prices.”

When you walk into Julian’s space, you get hands-on customer service and, if you want to pay a little extra, you can get a private appointment.

Julian Chang: “We have custom made pieces that you can order in a huge variety of colors and fabrics. You can choose your own prints and your own colors.”

Looks like I’ll be spending lots of time at Julian Chang’s.
