(WSVN) - Beyoncé’s famous song, “Single Ladies” goes something like this: “If you like it then you should have put a ring on it.”
Well, Queen B did exactly that when she helped one of her back-up dancer’s with a surprise proposal.
It’s a Beyoncé song a lot of women can relate to: “Single Ladies.” But the popular tune taking a different turn over the weekend in St. Louis, where Queen B was performing for her World Formation tour.
In the middle of the song, Beyoncé paused and teased the audience, saying she was gonna call someone on stage.
After a lot of teasing and taunting, she stopped the music and settled on this guy.
No ordinary fellow, that’s John Silver, Beyoncé’s artistic choreographer and creative director, who happens to be dating Beyoncé’s dance captain, Ashley Everett.
After he droned on about being from St. Louis, he did, this…
Silver (gets down on one knee, pulls out a ring): “Will you marry me?”
Yup, a proposal in his hometown in front of thousands of people…
Beyoncé: “Congratulations!”
If you couldn’t tell, Ashley said yes.
John – you good boy – he listened to that song and put a ring on it.
Congrats, you crazy kids!
