Here in SoFlo, it’s always about about having fun in the sun. And the must-have pool float this season is by an online company called Funboy. They hired a Miami artist to create a fun new float, and we’re hopping on.

It’s by Funboy, and it really stands out in a pool or a crowd — like the huge one that swarmed Miami Beach’s Floatopia recently.
Max Barrett: “We created a line of original pool floats so that everyone everywhere can enjoy shared experiences with those they love. What’s more fun than floating in the sun with your best friends? Also, our floats look great in Instagram photos.”
Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio shared her family Funboy fun at Coachella on Instagram. And fashion model Hailey Baldwin rocked her Revolve clothing line with Funboy, too.
Max Barrett: “Last Fourth of July, Taylor Swift had a party with all of her friends featuring the entire Funboy float squad. That was a huge moment for us.”
Tay Tay posted her “swan squad” shots too. And she posed on a Pegasus Funboy with Empire star Serayah McNeill.
Funboys sell for $99 and up, and they’re so chic, they’re turning up at celeb hot spots like Tulum, Mexico, Saint Barts and the Hugh Hefner suite in Sin City. Bieb’s “Boyfriend” video vixen Rocky Barnes rode on one in Palm Springs.
And our Magic City inspired a special Funboy. It’s by Miami artist Alex Yanes, and Deco caught up with him at the famed Fontainebleau.
Alex Yanes: “My work — and the colors in my work — they just spell Miami, and I think it was a perfect collaboration for an artist from Miami to create a float.”
It sells for $128, and sadly, it doesn’t come with the with hot models.
Alex Yanes: “It’s definitely not your grandma’s float. Even without models on it, the pool float in your pool, it’s a piece of art in your pool.”
A piece of art that’s easy to blow up and fun to share with a friend. Or hey, enjoy all to yourself! Either way with Funboy, you’re sure to make a splash.
