A steak sandwich. Yup. They’ve go that too. And all of it is damn good! Actually it’s great. This is DIRT where you can get a farro bowl and your dad can have his steak sandwich. Mind you, the sandwich happens to be made with herb-marinated grass-fed butcher’s cut steak, jalapeño Monterey jack cheese, roasted peppers, caramelized onions, local tomatoes, sunflower sprouts and horseradish "aioli". The point is no one is left out on this menu and even carnivores get local, sustainable, healthy and delicious choices.
DIRT, a clean fast-food eatery, just opened a few months ago on Miami Beach and Chef Nicole Votano and Owner and General Manager Jeff LaTulippe, are already looking to expand. If I’m lucky they’ll open one closer to me so I can have their Avocado Toast ($9.50) everyday. The Nourish bowl ($12) and Curried Cauliflower Bowl ($15) would also be on my list. DIRT is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And every day the chefs will collaborate to come up with that days menu mix based on the freshest ingredients.
If they ever open near me I don’t think I’ll ever cook again. Instead I think I’ll just eat my way through DIRT’S entire menu.
