“Suicide Squad” hasn’t exactly been getting rave reviews — and that’s putting it mildly. Some fans of the film are rising up in protest, not against reviewers, but an online site that posts their work. A change.org petition is being circulated to shut down Rotten Tomatoes.

Disgruntled fans said the site has tainted anyone who might want to see “Squad,” by giving it a 36 percent positive rating. Trust me — that’s not good.

Fans will be able to decide for themselves when “Suicide Squad” comes out on Friday. It’s a heck of a cast — Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto are just a few of the big stars in this.

I chatted with them and they told me why it’s good to be bad.

Will Smith (as Deadshot): “Y’all jokers must be crazy.”

This is the Suicide Squad — a group of the most dangerous people on the planet. The government has brought them out of prison and put them together in hopes they can do some good.

Jared Leto (as The Joker): “I can’t wait to show you my toys.”

Jared Leto: “First of all, that is such a nice silky suit. You look fantastic.”

Chris Van Vliet: “Thank you, do you think The Joker might wear something like this?”

Jared Leto: “I think he would appreciate that, and then he would probably–”

Chris Van Vliet: “Probably kill me.”

Jared Leto: “Probably cut your lips off just for fun.”

Oscar winner Jared Leto is The Joker and his love interest, Harley Quinn, is played by Margot Robbie. It’s the first time this popular comic book character is being brought to life in a movie.

Margot Robbie (as Harley Quinn): “Hi boys!”

Chris Van Vliet: “Do you feel a certain amount of pressure bringing Harley Quinn to life for the very first time?”

Margot Robbie: “Yeah for sure, because she has such a big fan following and I know when there’s a character or a book or something like that I really care about, I’m just like so nervous when they make it into a movie. I’m like, ‘Please don’t wreck it.'”

There are a lot of characters in the movie — but the glue that holds it all together is Deadshot, played by Will Smith.

Will Smith: “My character holds the emotional line. It’s way more fun to play the other characters if you don’t have to carry the emotional line, you get to do anything. I’ve been in that position a lot.”

Will Smith (as Deadshot): “Don’t forget, we’re the bad guys.”

So they’re bad guys … fighting bad guys, for good. Got that?

Chris Van Vliet: “Is there any part of The Joker that you still have with you, that you still carry around with you?”

Jared Leto: “Oh yea, I always think The Joker is going to be in there somewhere.”

Chris Van Vliet: “What is it specifically?”

Jared Leto: “You gotta be careful what you ask. It’s always good to have a joke in there for a rainy day.”

“Suicide Squad” is in theaters Friday.
