Someone was supposed to wake me up before Fox turned into the game show network, go figure.
Apparently, people, that’s what’s happening. Here’s a look at the games people are playing this week on Fox.
Heating up Fox this week is a special blend of “Beat Shazam” with a Father’s Day twist. And Gen Z’s firey creations on “MasterChef.”
Jane Krakowski: “Listen and name that tune.”
Keynotes for four more contestants on tonight’s “Name That Tune” as they journey toward $100,000.
Patton Oswalt: “Only 50 percent of Americans got this question right.”
Then, “The 1% Club” will get contestants scratching their heads also for a chance to win 100 grand.
Jamie Foxx: “I can already tell the energy is going to be incredible.”
Tuesday, dads team up with their sons and daughters on a special Father’s Day episode of “Beat Shazam,” with host Jamie Foxx and his daughter, Corinne Foxx.
After that, get the ball rolling with “The Quiz with Balls,” hosted by Jay Pharoah for a fun IQ test.
“MasterChef: Generations” contestant: “To the other generations I want to say, ‘I love you but watch out.'”
On hump-day Wednesday, Gen Zr’s auditions on “MasterChef: Generations.” Each contestant has 45 minutes to make a signature tasty dish to earn a spot in the top 20.
Gordon Ramsay: “We want you to work with a global client.”
Then, “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars” shines a spotlight on teams as they partner with “Delish” to make Fourth of July-themed recipes. The twist: they have to recreate it all on a livestream cook-a-long.
“Don’t Forget the Lyrics” contestant: “I’m so excited.”
Thursday, it’s a two-hour episode of “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!,” hosted by Niecy Nash. Players sing along until the music stops, then the challenge is on to fill in the missing lyrics.
WWE announcer: “Listen to this place!”
And “WWE Friday Night Smackdown” flies us into the weekend.
