Kia’s 2026 Sportage is mixing class with rugged features.

“So tell me about the features of this car.”

“So this car will have adaptive cruise control, which will automatically apply brakes for you if you’re getting close to somebody, so you don’t have to be on and off the brake. You’ll see the panoramic sunroof up top here,” said representative Josh Baziak.

With their X-Line and X-Pro trims, you can feel the power of this sub-compact SUV in snow, mud and sand terrain modes. Plus, it’s fully equipped with a 2.5-liter I-4 engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission and 187 horsepower.

“Great gas mileage with that,” said Baziak.

The new dual panoramic curved display screen keeps you focused on the road. And if you love listening to music while you hit the gas, get your jam on with the built-in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interface.

“Music?” Baziak said. “Music’s amazing so a Harman-Kardon stereo system. You can adjust the settings on that as well. So however you like your music you can make it exactly how you like it in this car.”

Getaway trips won’t feel cramped with three feet of legroom in the backseat and a class-leading cargo room for those overstuffed suitcases.

“I know why they call it the Sportage. Room for the soccer balls and the kids in the back seat and you still got plenty of room for the clubs in the back.”

Thanks to the Sportage’s seven standard advanced driver assistance systems, you get a 360-degree surround view monitor with 3D views. There’s also a live feed monitor for your blind spot so driving has never been easier.

“It’ll have the sensors which will light up in your mirror automatically. It has the beepers which will actually beep at you if you’re using your blinker and trying to get over in the lane and someone’s there,” Baziak explained.

Now, don’t be shocked if this car talks to you with a southern twang. It’s made in Georgia.

“This is our best seller so whether you’re a family with kids or single and want some extra space, it’s a great car,” Baziak said.
