Hawaii might be the place to surf waves, but at “Hawaii Fluid Art” in Pembroke Pines, they’re using waves in a groovy way.
Dmitriy Shpurik, Hawaii Fluid Art owner: “It is definitely an abstract art form; everything is very flowy. We focus on people who really have no skill or require no skill to create something really unique. And at the same time create memories with their loved ones.”
Stepping inside is a creator’s dream. Guests can pour their visions onto charcuterie boards, wine glasses, tumblers, even guitars—turning them into statement pieces. But the trendiest?
Dmitriy Shpurik: “I would say our fluid character piggy banks; we have over two dozen different characters that people can choose from.”
Guest: “I created a Batman, and I called it the Grand Canyon Batman. It’s great.”
Guest: “It’s fun, it’s satisfying, and I like how the colors turn out.”
Guest: “I got to make a skateboard. I tried to make it look like a galaxy a little bit. It was so much fun.”
Dmitriy Shpurik: “We added a wall clock that you can do with resin. And it’s a functioning wall clock that you can enjoy.”

Dmitriy Shpurik: “We try not to have classes in the traditional sense of the word; one person can be doing a piggy bank, another person can be doing a tumbler, another person can be doing a canvas, and that all happens at the same time.”
The best part: you don’t have to be Picasso to pull it off. Everyone is guided step-by-step.
Dmitriy Shpurik: “It’s for anybody from [age] 2 to 102. Families, evenings with your loved ones, kids, kid birthday parties, team building events, date nights. People get bored, kids get bored, it’s always fun to come out and create something unique.”
Guest: “Once you finish your project, it’s the wow factor.”
Guest: “You leave all the stress for the week, and you just dedicate an hour just to me and me, and it’s priceless.”
