Hanging out poolside usually means bathing suits and floaties … till now. Leave your suit and towel at home. All you need to bring to this pool is your appetite.

The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables is a historic landmark. The hotel’s bell tower is the highest spot in the Gables, and their pool is one of the largest in the U.S.

And, you don’t need to check in to check out their latest way to unwind and fill up.

Chef David Hackett, Biltmore Hotel: "The new dining experience is cabana dining at the Biltmore. We are offering dining in one of our nine cabanas."

This isn’t a dinky pop-up tent by the pool. These cabanas are pretty and private.

Chef David Hackett, Biltmore Hotel: "We wanted something that you can enjoy, certainly, the great scenery that the Biltmore has to offer. The beautiful outdoor cabana setting, especially when the sun goes down and the pool is lit up, is just extraordinary."

For $200 per person, you get to choose four courses from any of the restaurants on the property. Or, you and the chef can create a one-of-a-kind meal.

Chef David Hackett: "We want them to be part of the menu planning and the developing, and certainly have the experience be totally different, like they can never get anywhere else."

Cabana dining is perfect for a girls’ night or a date night. Dine under the stars on tuna tartare, Spanish octopus or cowboy steak. And you can share dessert while lounging inside the cabana.

Chef David Hackett: "The desserts that we offer in the Biltmore there are our homemade crème brûlée. There’s our tiramisu; we have an awesome hazelnut cake."

Filling up al fresco never looked or tasted so good.
